What is Mudjacking?
Mudjacking, also known as slabjacking, is a concrete repair process in which a sunken piece of concrete slab is raised by filling the crack with an an expanding polyurethane foam that essentially pushes the concrete up from below. When the process begins a small hole is drilled in the concrete in the best place to lift the slab.
There are some cases that mudjacking can not fix, if poor quality concrete is initially used the slabs may crack under the pressure of the polyurethane foam. If the concrete is less than 5 inches thick, the process also may not work.
